I am pleased to have my drawings on the cover of the Worcester Business Journal's "How are you Feeling About 2011" issue. It was a pleasure to work with the Journal.

I made it into Worcester Mag! The Tea Party story was my contribution. I would like to thank Andy Fish for including me for this project. I think all the entries are great and I am very proud to be involved.

Each year top 10 lists abound. The best of everything is offered up ad nauseam, yet we keep on reading because we simply can’t help ourselves as we look back on the year we’ve just experienced.

At Worcester Mag we decided to do something different to run down the list of top news stories of 2010. Adding a little creativity to our news feed, Worcester Mag has asked ten local illustrators to take our list of top news stories and present them to you in comic form. Touching upon everything from City Square to Pit Bulls, our creative community offers up their take on the most talked about stories of 2010.

Ultimate Red Sox Show: Charity Wines, Part III [HQ

Today is a good day.

Charity Wines

I was luck enough to be invited to the Tasting of the new Red Sox Charity Wine. I also had the good fortune to donate two pieces to a silent auction, which I can proudly say sold:)
I had an absolute blast!The Tasting was held at the Foundation Room in the House of Blues across the street from Fenway Park. Jacoby Ellsbury and Heidi Watney were in attendance. I was able to meet both Jacoby, who signed the drawing I did of him, and Heidi, she posed for a photo with me:) Josh Beckett is going to sign the drawing I did of him.
Go out and buy the wine (they are delicious), and help support Jacoby and Josh's charity's!!!

Here is one I did of Red Sox Lefty pitcher Jon Lester. It was good to see Jon throw a one hitter through 9 last night.

Alright so I don't post too many videos here, but this one cracked me up....but not in a gay way. This maybe one of the saddest videos out there, poor guy, he is going to have trust issues with youtube now.

Invitation Caricature

Whoa! It's been a long time since I posted. I have been busy as of late, and the blog has totally slipped my mind. Here is an invitation I was commissioned to draw. The information about the party was on the front table cloth, but I deleted it out.
I hope to get more stuff up soon. I hope to take some pictures of my live caricatures soon, and post them here.

Nomar

Here is one of Red Sock Nomar Garciaparra. I started this one this morning when I found out he was returning to the Red Sox to retire. I thought it was a strange move, but I like the gesture. I enjoyed watching Nomar play. This one made it on to the
Dirt Dogs, which makes me very happy:)

E-Rock

I have not posted in a long time, I have been working on a few things, that I can not post, but I wanted to do a quick post. Here is a friend of mine, and fellow caricaturist Eric Goodwin. I wanted to draw something with a light source coming from below, and that is really the only reason for this drawing. It was fun to work on. I hope you enjoy it. More post coming soon.

This is just a quick doodle of John Hamm as Don Draper from Mad Men. I am working on a couple of projects right now, I did this as a "coffee break". I drew it on an 7x10 sketch book using marker and color sticks. then I took a scan messing up the levels.

This is a small section of a project I just finished. It is of Dick Cheney...I think today is his birthday.

Samples

Here are 3 samples I did for a convention I worked this past weekend. I used Copic Markers for the first time, with Prisma color pastels. I like these mediums for this convention, it was cleaner and quieter then using the airbrush in a hotels lobby.

The carictures are Robert Patterson, Harrison Ford, and Angelina Jolie. Sorry for the bad photo.

Precious

Here is a quick sketch and an even quicker paint job, of Precious. I have not seen the film and I do not know anything about it. I saw a pic in a magazine and I did a sketch of it with a blue pen.

Eastwood

This is just a sketch book drawing I did of one of my favorite actors. It was done with a col-erase pencil, and a blue bic pen. I may try to make a painting of it when I've got the time.
